The pilot is based across a number of food production sites in south-east Queensland. The types of roles available suit many autistic strengths, including: Quality control and packaging Machine operation and maintenance support Animal care Cafeteria Data entry, data collection and analysis Quality Assurance/Quality Control IT and Technology Administration and office roles Finance, accounting and bookkeeping Logistics, warehousing and supply chain Packaging and packing Cleaning and Laundry Trades/technical pathways Scientific and product development   These are structured roles with clear expectations, consistent routines, and a focus on doing the job well. If you like knowing what you are doing each day and taking pride in getting it right, one of these jobs could be a strong fit for you.

You will not be navigating this alone. Throughout the program you will have access to: A dedicated support person who we call a NCLO: The Neurodiversity Cultural Liaison Officer is with you throughout the program, from recruitment through to employment, to make sure you have what you need to thrive. Employers who are ready: Every employer site participating in this program has been trained in neuroinclusive practices. They understand autism. They want to get it right. Tailored onboarding: The program includes structured onboarding and training designed around how you work best, not a one-size-fits-all approach. Ongoing check-ins: Your wellbeing is monitored throughout. If something is not working, we work together to fix it.

This program is open to autistic adults across Queensland who are looking for meaningful, long-term employment. You do not need previous experience in food production. What matters is that you are interested in the work and ready to give it a go with the right support behind you.
